About Me

I am up early most mornings before the rest of the world is awake and love listening to the calls of the birds. I enjoy coffee with cream and sometimes an earl grey instead. Autumn is my favorite time of year because of the colors, breezes and rain. I express myself through my art by working with acrylic, oil and charcoal in addition to jewelry making and knitting. I play five instruments and counting, including my voice. I like to write short stories, essays and poems. I am a perpetual traveler and have lived in numerous states and countries. I like to walk. Everywhere. I am an avid reader and lover of the library. I once cycled across the state of Maine. I studied music, anthropology and library science in college and grad school, but I am actually just a student of life.
